Alpaca Walks

Our alpacas are halter trained and provide an ideal companion for a walk to enjoy the beautiful scenery around our farm.

Our walks will be a private experience for your booking and will also include meeting the rest of the herd so we limit group numbers - a minimum of 2 alpaca walkers per walk( with each booking) up to a maximum of 4 alpaca walkers . 

Non alpaca walkers can accompany the group although the group size- walkers and non walkers will still be maximum of 4 per booking.

This is a private alpaca experience i.e , so you don’t have to share with others visitors. 

Details 

A leisurely walk around our 6 acre field, lots of alpaca chat, opportunities for photos within our beautiful location , meet the rest of the herd and our pygmy goats. We will finish with refreshments and the opportunity to see how we hand produce our fleece to create items of knitwear . 

please allow up to 2 hours for the whole experience.

Walkers must be over the age of 13 yrs to lead an alpaca and be accompanied by an adult alpaca walker. Children between 8 and 12 yrs can join the walk as non walkers  when accompanied by a minimum 2 alpaca walkers.

As the walk is on uneven ground it is not suitable for young children. Please have a look at our farm visits instead.

£30.00 per walker

£20.00 for a non-walker accompanying the group.

We are open through the year , although all walks will be weather permitting and full details will be discussed when booking your chosen date.

We are not an open farm and visits/walks need to be pre booked.

We are licensed by Hambleton District Council for "The keeping or training of Animals for Exhibition under the Animal Welfare Regulations 2018" - License number PA22/6/Y3
